Okenite is found in the Dindoshi mines of suburban Mumbai (Bombay).
With skyscraping of suburban Mumbai, Okenite/Gyrolite/Prehnite mines may soon become extinct.

Fluffy Okenite is found only in Mumbai, though mordenite on amethyst from Shirdi is more like okenite.
There seems to be very little written about the various okenites found in India. There is one which is a white chalky druse, listed as mordenite, but is locally called okenite. Mordenite's crystal habits do not concur with these. I'd like to hear more about this, so if you know something about this, I'd love to hear.
